About CUET 2025

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET), formerly known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET), is an all-India examination administered by the National Testing Agency to candidates seeking admission to various Central Universities  of India including Delhi University, BHU, Allahabad University, Tezpur University, the University of Hyderabad amongst others undergraduate, integrated, postgraduate, diploma, certification, and research programmes.

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a test for undergraduate admissions that is administered by more than 200 universities, including 47 Central Universities, which include institutions like Delhi University, BHU, Jamia Millia Islamia, JNU, AMU, University of Allahabad, and University of Hyderabad. The exam measures a person’s proficiency in language, topic knowledge, and general mental capacity.

Any applicant seeking admission to an undergraduate programme at one of the universities taking part in CUET must take the exam. Admission to all Central Universities, including Delhi University, BHU, Jamia Millia Islamia, JNU, AMU, University of Allahabad, University of Hyderabad, and numerous other state and private universities (totaling 200+), will be based on CUET results; class XII board scores will not be given any direct weighting in the selection process.

Yes. Even if you have to show up for the Class XII Boards exams, you can still take the CUET. At the time of admissions, one must, nevertheless, present the transcripts or other documentation demonstrating that they meet the requirements for the Course/University applied.
